Where work gets stuck
Reporting takes repeated exports and spreadsheet adjustments, and two reports may give different answers to the same question. A dashboard is only useful when people understand where its figures come from and what they include.
A system for the next step
We start with the decisions the report supports, agree the calculations, and identify the source for each measure. Work can include scheduled data collection, cleaning and validation, dashboards, filters, drill-down views, and scheduled reports. The implementation may use Power BI, another reporting platform, or an application connected to your systems, depending on access, licensing, and how the reports will be shared.

Is this the right approach?
Reporting is a useful first step when the source systems already capture the right information. If key events are missing or recorded inconsistently, improving data capture belongs in the scope before presenting the figures as dependable measures.
Agree what each number means
Revenue, completed work, and active accounts can each have several valid definitions. Establish whether dates refer to orders, invoices, payment, or delivery, and agree how cancellations, refunds, and missing records affect the result.
Useful dashboards show the reporting period and last successful refresh. Where a total needs investigation, a detail view should help a permitted user find the records behind it. Historical comparisons also need a decision about whether later corrections update earlier periods.
